Therapy Track LLC has assembled an advisory board of experts
specializing in healthcare, technology and business to assist
us as we grow across the country, improving our Total Productivity
Track product and expanding into all ancillary service departments
and nursing. They are:
John A. Barrett has been a partner at Fulbright
& Jaworski L.L.P. since 1972 and is now Of Counsel,
he was formerly partner-in-charge of the firm's London
office and its international practice advises domestic
and multinational corporations and banks, foreign governments,
heads of state and other entities in major global business
and investment. He served the U.S. State Department
as a Treaty Negotiator to the UNCITRAL project on cross-border
insolvency which was adopted and is now part of the
U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Currently a member or an advisory
member of the following board of directors: Adams Resources
and Energy; Aerofoil Technology (Swiss Turbines); Multivac,
Inc. (German vacuum packaging), Total Productivity Track
and Cogent Partners (investor bankers).
Don Hanna brings over thirty eight years of
progressive responsibilities in commercial/investment
banking to the Therapy Track advisory board, including
extensive experience in corporate accounts throughout
the world, centered in oil and gas related companies
and extensive knowledge of correspondent banks, products
and ownership in the Southwest. Career positions include
Managing Director, Oil & Gas, North America at ABN
AMRO BANK N.V. (Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 1985-2000),
Senior Vice President, Department Manager at J P Morgan
Chase (Former First City Bank of Texas, 1979-1985),
and Senior Vice President, Department Manager at Bank
of America (Former Republic National Bank of Texas,
1963-1979). Mr. Hanna holds a BBA in Banking and Finance
from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas 1962,
as well as Graduate degrees from Oklahoma Intermediate
School of Banking (1970) and Southwestern School of
Banking, SMU (1973).
Rob Morris has worked in healthcare for almost
20 years and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer
for Sugar Land Rehabilitation Hospital, the leading
provider of inpatient rehabilitation services for Houston's
southwest corridor. Mr. Morris and his family relocated
to Sugar Land from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area where he
worked for the Baylor Health Care System for 12 years,
serving as Vice President of Operations for Baylor Regional
Medical Center at Grapevine and overseeing operations
at their main hospital as well as two outpatient imaging
centers and a physical rehabilitation center. Prior
to entering the field of hospital administration Mr.
Morris served in a clinical capacity, working with patients
as a registered radiology and ultrasound technologist.
He completed an Administrative Residency with Baylor,
received his MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington,
and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health
Services Administration from UT Southwestern in Dallas.
Rick Nixon, M.D. is a Board-certified orthopedic
surgeon who has been in private practice in Houston,
TX since 1991. He did his undergraduate studies at the
University of Texas in Austin before receiving his medical
degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Scott
and White Hospital in Temple, TX and a post-residency
fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery
at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Nixon has served
as Chief of Staff at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital
and was named Physician of the Year in 1999. He is presently
the Medical Director of Operating Room Services at Memorial
Hermann Northwest, and has served as the Medical Director
of the Joint Center, Chairman of the Orthopedic Section,
Chairman of the Resource Management Committee, and Chairman
of the Bylaws Committee. Dr. Nixon is a member of the
Board of Directors of Memorial Hermann Health Net Providers.
He is the team physician for several high schools in
the Houston area, and is a qualified first pilot and
unit vice commander in the United States Coast Guard
Auxiliary.
Ed Powell served for 35 years with the accounting
firm of Price Waterhouse LLP, the last 12 of which as
the Managing Partner of the Houston office. For 9 years
he was the Managing Partner of the offices metropolitan
practice, a unit that dealt exclusively with middle
market companies. Recently, he has been a consultant
and investor in a number of middle market enterprises
in a variety of industries. In 1998 he was the CFO of
a telcom company that raised $114 million in a public
offering. He currently serves on the Boards of several
companies and not-for profit organizations. Mr. Powell
is a graduate of Texas A & M University.
Rick Richards is an entrepreneur with over 25
years experience in the healthcare industry. He most
recently served as CEO of Integra Hospital Management,
a start-up company operating rehabilitation hospitals,
based in Plano Texas. Prior to that, he served as President/CEO
of Richards Healthcare, Inc., one of the nation's premiere
rehabilitation service providers, which he founded and
managed from 1991 to 2006. Richards Healthcare Inc.
was ultimately sold to publically traded HCR ManorCare,
based in Toledo, Ohio. During his tenure with Richards
Healthcare, Mr. Richards was honored as a finalist for
Houston's Entrepreneur of the Year in 1995 and his company
was recognized as one of Houston's Top 100 Companies.
Prior to 1991, Mr. Richards served in a number of middle
and senior management positions, eventually becoming
President/CEO of Tinsley Physical Therapy, a private
Houston company, during the late 1980s. Mr. Richards
has served on numerous community based boards, including
The John Cooper School, First Baptist Church, and The
Club at Carlton Woods. He currently serves on the Executive
Board for The Cox School of Business (Southern Methodist
University), the Advisory Board for Advanced ICU (a
St. Louis based company that provides high quality critical
care and intensive care physician services via telemedicine),
and on the Advisory Board for Therapy Track.
Dan Wilford is past president (1984-2002) of
Memorial Hermann Healthcare System and its nine subsidiary
corporations and served as chief executive officer of
a community-based, not-for-profit, multi-hospital system
consisting of 13 hospitals in the greater Houston area,
and 2 hospitals in Beaumont and Orange, Texas, an outpatient
center, two nursing homes, a retirement community, and
a wellness center. Mr. Wilford earned his Bachelor of
Arts Degree at the University of Mississippi in 1962;
Master's Degree in Hospital Administration at Washington
University in St. Louis in 1966; and completed his residency
in hospital administration at Hillcrest Medical Center
in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mr. Wilford has served on the board of directors of
many professional organizations. He was a founder and
was active in Voluntary Hospitals of America (board
chairman), VHA Texas (chairman), Texas Hospital Association
(board member), American Hospital Association, Hospital
Research and Development Institute (board member), American
College of Healthcare Executives (Fellow and Regent,
four terms), Greater Houston Partnership (board member),
United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast (board member), and
First United Methodist Church of Sugar Land (administrative
board). In 1995, he was inducted into the University
of Mississippi Alumni Hall of Fame, was the recipient
of the Washington University Health Administration Program
Distinguished Alumnus Award, received an honorary Doctorate
of Laws degree from Houston Baptist University, and
was named Business Leader of the Year in Fort Bend County,
Texas. In March 1997, he received the American College
of Healthcare Executive's Gold Medal Award. In June
1997, he was presented with the Texas Hospital Association's
Earl C. Collier Award. In 2003, He received the Award
of Honor from the American Hospital Association. Dan
retired as an official with the National Football League
and has actively participated in sports throughout his
life.
Dan continues to be active serving on the Board of
Directors of St. Joseph Health System of Orange, California,
The John S. Dunn Research Foundation, corporate member
of Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, and past director
(13 years) of Infirmary Healthcare System, Mobile, Alabama.
He serves on the Board of Directors of two public companies:
Healthcare Realty Trust and LHC Group. He is on the
advisory board of three health related private companies.
He is on the Audit Committee of M. D. Anderson Medical
Center and serves on the board of numerous not for profit
organizations.
